Eligibility

  • Candidates should have passed a B.A./ B.El.Ed./ B.Ed./ D.El.Ed. or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution.
Important Date

  • Starting Date for Submission of Application: 20/07/2022.
  • Last Date for Submission of Application: 19/08/2022.
  • Pay Application Fee [Online]: 20/08/2022. up to 3:30 pm
  • Form Correction: 22-27 August 2022.

Application Fee

  • Gen/ OBC: 1000/- (Single Subject).
  • SC/ ST/ PwBD: 500/- (Single Subject).
  • Gen/ OBC: 1200/- (Both Subject).
  • SC/ ST/ PwBD: 600/- (Both Subject).
  • Payment will be made through Net banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card or e- Challan.
Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: No Upper Age Limit

Post-wise Eligibility

  • Teacher for Classes I-V
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  •  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR 
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) OR 
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR 
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

 

  • Teacher for Classes VI-VIII
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR 
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR 
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.). OR 
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A./ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education). OR 
  • Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/ CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/ CTET.
Selection Process

  • Once you qualify for the CTET exam, you are eligible to apply for primary teachers, TGT, and PGT posts in Central Government Schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya School, DSSSB & Navodaya Samiti Schools.
  • You can also apply for the State level recruitment exam as well.
  • Apart from this, the candidate who clears the CTET Exam is also applied in the reputed private schools, there is high demand over there.
